Environmental, Social,
& Governance Plan 2026

This ESG plan outlines the environmental, social, and governance commitments of SANCTUM PBC, "SANCTUM Aspen", a micro-healing center dedicated to ethical, sustainable, and community-driven practices.

SANCTUM is uniquely positioned within the psychedelic ecosystem to advance leadership development by integrating psychedelic-assisted therapy, ancient and indigenous-informed practices, and executive and transformational coaching. We work with influential leaders across business, government, nonprofit, and military sectors to embed principles of human cohesion, coherence, consciousness, and pro-social decision-making into the systems that shape society.

Our model is designed to create both impact and access. Revenue generated through work with corporate and business leaders is strategically redeployed to expand access to care—supporting at-or-below-cost programming and community offerings for individuals and organizations who would not otherwise be able to participate. This approach allows us to help close the affordability gap while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Our ESG plan follows SMART principles: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound. This ensures that our commitments are actionable, transparent, and aligned with measurable progress across environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical governance.

Environmental Commitments

SANCTUM prioritizes sustainability and environmental responsibility across all aspects of our operations. Our commitments include:

Renewable Energy Use

SANCTUM operates on 100% renewable electricity through the City of Aspen's renewable energy grid.

Net-Zero Waste Initiative

We are committed to operating as a net-zero waste facility through comprehensive recycling, composting, and minimizing single-use or non-reusable materials wherever possible.

Sustainable Sourcing

We prioritize organic, sustainably produced, and ethically sourced materials and products across all operational needs, including natural medicine inputs where applicable.

Low-Impact Transportation Model

Client experiences minimize or eliminate vehicular use with lodging and programming in walking distance of our facility, at Aspen Meadows Resort, The Little Nell, and SkyRun Aspen.

Social Impact Model

SANCTUM is fostering meaningful social impact through accessibility, community engagement, and leadership development. Our commitments include:

Accessible Care Through Strategic Partnerships

We are developing one of Colorado's most affordable group care offerings, supported by partnerships with Thank You Life and the Aspen Psychedelic Resource Center non-profits to scale at-or-below-cost community programming.

Community Education & Engagement

We host up to 24 free annual events, including education, harm reduction, integration support, and embodiment experiences.

Leadership Development for Societal Impact

We convene leaders across sectors and perspectives to strengthen human connection, reduce polarization, and enhance collaborative problem-solving.

Industry Stewardship & Field Building

We support leaders across the psychedelic ecosystem—founders, nonprofits, researchers, and funders—to foster alignment and ethical field development.

Employee Well-being & Development

We provide holistic wellness support, mental health resources, and professional development for all team members.

Governance Commitments

SANCTUM upholds rigorous standards of ethical governance, integrity, curiosity, courage, love, and accountability. Our commitments include:

Public Benefit Corporation Commitment

As a Public Benefit Corporation, SANCTUM is legally obligated to balance profit with measurable social and environmental impact, and we structure our operations accordingly.

Indigenous Respect & Reciprocity

We seek to honor and include indigenous knowledge systems and practitioners through respectful integration, ethical acknowledgment, and economic models to support reciprocity and repair with indigenous communities.

Third-Party Safety & Accountability Systems

We maintain partnerships with organizations such as Zendo Project and other qualified resources to ensure third-party participant support systems are available and clearly communicated.

Transparent Iterative Decision-Making

We implement clear internal feedback and decision-making processes that incorporate stakeholder input, community feedback, and ethical review on a quarterly basis to maximize iterative learning velocity and best practices improvement.

Accountability & Reporting

SANCTUM will conduct an annual ESG review, tracking progress against defined goals and publishing updates through our website and community channels.
