SANCTUM

OUR APPROACH

What We Believe

Personal healing can become collective transformation. When we change ourselves, we change what’s possible for the world around us.

Psychedelics aren’t the medicine. You are. The medicine may open a door. You choose to walk through it.

Every person is unique. Their care should be, too. Your history, needs, and aspirations should shape your journey—not a one-size-fits-all procedure.

Nature and place are part of the medicine. Our surroundings shape us. The beauty, intention, and connection to nature at SANCTUM deepen the work.

We go further, deeper, and higher together. Life is richer with people who understand us, challenge us with care, and grow alongside us.

Coaching × Psychedelic Medicine × Community

Each is powerful on its own. Together, they deepen and reinforce one another—connecting inner transformation with outward achievement, and insight with lasting change.

The SANCTUM Difference

Individualized, because you are different.

Similar roles and achievements can conceal very different lives. Your history, strengths, and challenges call for an approach of your own.

We begin with your goals, pair you with a dedicated lead coach, and bring in specialists as your needs evolve.

People who can meet the whole of you.

Moving between roles can mean showing one part of yourself and concealing another. Over time, that can leave little room to simply be yourself.

Here, you can bring those parts together. An empathetic community of people exploring similar questions offers space to be fully seen—and to discover what becomes possible when you stop holding part of yourself back.

What Is the COURAGE Method™?

Real transformation happens from the inside out. Most coaching focuses on what you do. The COURAGE Method™ begins with who you are.

Developed and refined through our sister company, the Civic Courage Lab, with more than 1,400 leaders, it combines ancient wisdom, modern psychology, neuroscience, and peak-performance practices. The aim: to help you live, love, and lead from your highest embodied potential in service—what Aristotle called arête.

Strategy Is Not Enough.

Knowing what to do isn’t the same as being able to do it. Unconscious beliefs, competing desires, and ingrained patterns can undermine even the best strategy.

We look beneath the goal to understand what you really want, what holds you back, and who you need to become. Then we pair that inner work with strategy, execution, and accountability—so progress has a foundation that lasts.

Three Types of Courage

The Courage to Be Yourself

Know yourself deeply, embrace who you are, and show up confidently—even when the world pushes back.

The Courage to Work Across Difference

Build the relational skills, nervous system regulation, and capacity for constructive confrontation to work effectively with people whose skills and beliefs differ from yours.

The Courage to Reach Your Potential

Master what matters, delegate what others can do, and eliminate the rest—building systems and habits that support exceptional performance and genuine balance.

How It Works

Every engagement begins with a Clarity Session to identify your goals, explore the beliefs and patterns holding you back, and envision your future self.

We then work backward to design your program: the capacities to develop, practices to adopt, and milestones to reach. The work addresses six pillars of conscious leadership: mental, emotional, physical, social, financial, and spiritual well-being.

Personalized coaching, experiential practices, and practical strategy guide three stages:

  • Awareness — Uncover what’s really driving you.
  • Acceptance — Meet what you discover with compassion rather than resistance.
  • Aligned Action — Translate insight into strategy, habits, and lasting results.

Your lead coach integrates specialists and practices around your needs. Where appropriate, psychedelic medicine and other altered-state practices support discovery, exploration of blocks, and creativity. Coaching turns insight into action. Community helps sustain change.

The Goal

Not simply to solve today’s problem, but to build your capacity to meet tomorrow’s challenges more effectively—without losing touch with who you are.

The Power of Retreat

Coaching turns insight into action. Retreats create space for breakthrough.

No inbox to answer. No role to play. No one to impress. Just the mountains, extraordinary people, and room to explore parts of yourself that everyday life rarely lets you meet.

Each retreat is shaped around the people who gather, not a fixed program. Psychedelic ceremonies are offered, never required, with participation and dosing guided by your needs and care team. Breathwork, silence, forest bathing, depth coaching, or an honest connection may prove just as significant.

Your membership includes 13 retreat days annually, usable across scheduled three- and five-day group experiences. Private retreats are available year-round at additional cost. Reservations are first-come, first-served, with intimate groups and at least one staff member for every three guests to support attentive, individualized care.

Step outside familiar patterns and explore another way of being. Then, with your coach beside you, bring it home.

Step away from the world. Return ready to meet it differently.
